I had a fairly okay experience with this florist. I needed flowers delivered and had a few questions before ordering. I wasn't able to reach them directly over the phone, but they got back to me quickly via text. I appreciated that they took the time to reach back out. They had told me to submit the order online which I did with all the details necessary (message, delivery date, address, etc). And they had sent me a photo of delivery upon my request. However, I am a little bit disappointed that they did not deliver the arrangement on the correct date. I think because we were communicating via text, the florist thought it was supposed to be a same day delivery as when the order was put in. They completely missed the intented delivery date on the order. When I noted the mistake, they reached back out to apologize. In my case, it wasn't a super big deal to have the floral arrangement arrive 3 days early, but the delivery date is there for a reason... specifically so that the recipient is actually home to receive the delivery. For someone else, the arrangement could have been sitting out for days wilting in the heat. It was an honest mistake and I understand that this is a small local business so the florist is probably making arrangements and delivering them herself. ---- Florist's Response: Thank you very much for having bought from our flower shop. There was indeed a problem with the date. That day was a bit difficult because I personally make the arrangements and also make the deliveries. That day, things were a bit complicated on the road as well, delivering other orders, and everything was done through text messages, so I didn’t have the chance to print out the order or double-check it like I usually do. I honestly thought it was for the same day. Normally, I print the orders, check the date, and I’ve never had this happen before, delivering an order out of schedule. But, since we were communicating directly, that’s what happened. From now on, it’s a learning experience and something like that won’t happen again.
